The basic performance of spinning reels - "reeling," "durability," and "flight" - has been further evolved. Equipped with MICROMODULE II and SILENTDRIVE, the reel pursues reeling performance approaching that of flagship models. The new HAGANE GEAR and X-Protect waterproofing mechanism make the new model even stronger and more durable than the previous model. Furthermore, casting performance has been improved by adopting a LONG STROKE SPOOL for the first time in its class. The new model enables anglers to approach points where lures could not reach before. STRADIC, which offers a rich lineup of products for a wide range of situations from light targets to big fish in the sea, has achieved an evolution that approaches that of the flagship model.

-Micromodule ll has evolved with Shimano's unique manufacturing technology and a state-of-the-art gear-tooth surface design. The drive and pinion gear surfaces have been analyzed and updated from the ground up in Shimano's pursuit of perfection to further improve the smooth gear feeling and reduce sound.

-Silentdrive The basic design of the entire body and drive-related parts were reviewed one by one to reduce minute rattles, gaps, and shaking between parts down to the smallest detail. It provides smooth and quiet reel rotation.

-Long Stroke Spool has a longer stroke compared to conventional spool designs. It contributes to improved casting feel and distance.
