The Infinity Evolution of the latest Shimano Stella FK reels now comes with;

INFINITY LOOP that creates a precise winding pattern. The evolution of the internal structure extends the spool’s oscillation and enables the spool to move up and down at an extremely low speed. This precise winding pattern drastically reduces friction as the line leaves the spool during a cast. The result is smooth and exceptional casting performance.

INFINITY XROSS achieves overwhelming gear durability. Advances in manufacturing technology and gear tooth design have improved surface area contact and meshing between the drive gear and pinion gear. This efficiently distributes the load placed on surfaces of the gear tooth over a wider area. This revolutionary design prevents damage from stress points and doubles the durability compared to conventional gear designs.

INFINITY DRIVE greatly increases power transmission and torque. The X-SHIP technology that created exceptionally light winding has now evolved into an even more powerful structure. Compared to previous models where the main shaft was supported by the pinion gear, a new unique low friction bushing greatly decreases frictional resistance. To further reduce rotational torque and provide more power, a proprietary surface treatment is applied to the main shaft. The result: A reel that provides increased crank power under heavy loads.

ANTI-TWIST FIN ensures trouble-free line management. A flexible polymer fin is installed near the line roller to maintain line tension and prevent line from wrapping around the spool in an uneven manner. STELLA FK also features a redesigned spool edge and drag knob that minimizes the possibility of the line becoming snagged. Utilizing technology with a proven track record in Stella SW, a proprietary barrier coat is applied for strong abrasion resistance.

DURA CROSS is a revolutionary new drag washer that has been designed using cutting-edge materials woven in an orthogonal pattern. The result is a drag system that produces perfectly smooth consistent drag pressure, while utilizing a material that is more than 10 times more durable for added performance.

The new AR-C spool shape improves line management by modifying both the shape and angle of the spool ring as well as the drag knob to significantly lessen the risk of line looping or fouling. Utilizing technology with a proven track record in Stella SW, a proprietary barrier coat is applied to the spool ring for strong abrasion resistance to maintain its original smooth condition.
