The Shimano Talica Game Reel is a compact game reel that's ideal for trolling or live baiting with hollowcore braid and a 24-37kg IGFA monofilament top shot. This reel offers a high-speed retrieve that you can use for Kingfish where speed can make all the difference or use it to target Marlin and Tuna with trolling lures or pitching a bait to a pelagic.
The Shimano Talica is one-piece cold forged and machined aluminium frame for extreme strength. It's treated with a proprietary surface process for additional corrosion protection. Cold forged aluminium spool, oversized HEG, waterproof carbon drag system and 6 shielded anti-reverse bearings for smooth operation. The Talica is made to withstand massive drag pressures and the carbon drag system has been waterproofed (when engaged) to handle saltwater spray. And what's more the High Efficiency Gearing means that it has the power to fight fish well above its weight class.
